Job Description

We are seeking a Certified Medical Assistant who enjoys working with children and their families. (32-36 hours per week, including every other Saturdays).

We are a well-established pediatric practice located in Schaumburg, IL. We are seeking a qualified, compassionate individual who enjoys working with children to fill a CMA position. ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • · Performs vitals, rooms patients and gathers specimens.· Documents necessary information in the EMR.· Collects specimens, performs in-office lab testing and prepares specimens for outside labs.· Assists with in-office patient procedures per protocol and training.· Administering immunizations· Contributes to the daily upkeep of office space and equipment.· Demonstrates and supports PediaTrust Core Values.· Performs cleaning and disinfection of instruments and equipment based on practice protocol.· Performs digital health workflows and initiatives.· Performs other duties as assigned.

Part-Time Registered Nurse- Winnetka, IL

We are a well-established pediatric practice in Winnetka, IL. We are seeking a qualified, compassionate individual who is a team player and enjoys working with children to fill a Registered Nurse position. Part time position between 32-36 hours. The ability to work 1-2 Saturdays a month is mandatory.

A current RN license and BLS/CPR certificate required.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

  • Provides assessment of patients in the office and administers direct patient care as ordered by the provider.
  • Manages and documents incoming patient telephone calls and assesses the need for patient appointments or delivers home care advice and management per printed triage guidelines or under the direction of a provider.
  • Provides patient/parent education on diagnoses and treatment, as per provider orders. Prepares and administers immunizations or other medications per office protocol and provider orders.
  • Assists in scheduling diagnostic procedures and referrals to specialists, per provider orders.
  • Monitors the completion of ordered diagnostic tests and routes results accordingly.

  • Coordinates the ordering and administration of medications for specific patient populations.
