On-Demand Telemedicine Visits Coming 12/09!
At PediaTrust, we’re proud to be here when you need us, so we are in the process of rolling out our telemedicine program, offering virtual visits
for certain scheduled and on-demand visits. Don’t worry about packing up the kids, driving, waiting in traffic, and parking at the office. You will be able to visit a pediatrician with the click of a button!
Beginning on Monday, December 9th, Dr. Ruben Rucoba will begin offering On-Demand virtual visits to all PediaTrust patients. This means that you can request a virtual visit for certain conditions without an appointment. These conditions include:
- Pinkeye without fever
- Colds & other minor illnesses
- Vomiting and diarrhea
- Minor trauma screening (cuts, abrasions, animal bites)

What is a virtual visit? This is a visit that takes place wherever you want it to, via your mobile phone, tablet, or computer with a PediaTrust physician. For best reception, make sure your device is connected to WiFi.
How do I pre-register for On-Demand telemedicine services? Simply download the Anytime Pediatrics app and enter Dr. Rucoba’s practice code- 6300. You will then be able to log in from your smartphone, tablet, or computer to initiate a visit.
I’ve seen other telemedicine services offered to me–how is this one different? Our telemedicine program is staffed only by PediaTrust pediatricians. Other programs often rely on clinicians who are usually not pediatricians and not experienced in children’s care. With our program, you will see a board-certified PediaTrust physician who will give your child the care and attention they deserve.
How much is a virtual visit? Telemedicine visits will be a flat fee of $59 for regular visits and $89 for specialty visits (Children’s Gastroenterology Specialists), paid at the time of service.
Will my child’s pediatrician be offering telemedicine services? Throughout the coming months, several PediaTrust pediatricians will be rolling out telemedicine. Your pediatrician will inform you if telemedicine is an option for your child and his/her condition.
