Our Doctors

Dr. Jonathan Powell graduated from Lawrence University in Appleton, Wisconsin in 1992. He then attended Rush Medical College in Chicago. Dr. Powell completed his pediatric training at Lutheran General Hospital. He is board certified in pediatrics and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics. His clinical interests are newborns (especially first time parents), child development, and weight management.

In addition to working in private practice, Dr. Powell has served the community through working in Chicago area health clinics and with underprivileged youth. He has also spent time in Nigeria and Bolivia delivering care for the underserved population.

Dr. Powell lives with his two daughters in the north suburbs and enjoys playing soccer and softball.

Practice Philosophy: I have the privilege of caring for a parent’s most precious possession, their children. It’s my job to help educate and empower parents to take an active role in their children’s health.
