At Ad-Park Pediatric Associates, our team consists of experienced, compassionate pediatricians and friendly, nurturing staff members who take pride in giving our young patients the personalized pediatric care that they deserve.

All of our pediatricians are highly educated professionals who have undergone rigorous academic and clinical training in pediatrics. We maintain a high level of expertise through continuing education in order to provide the most up-to-date care for the young patients we are privileged to serve.

Merrick J. Bromberg, D.O. is a graduate of the Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine. He completed his internship at the Chicago Osteopathic Hospital, and then finished his pediatric residency at Michael Reese Hospital and Medical Center. He is a member of the attending staff at Children’s Memorial Hospital, Elmhurst Hospital, Hinsdale Hospital and Alexian Brothers Medical Center. Dr. Bromberg was the chairman of Elmhurst Hospital’s Department of Pediatrics from 1993-1995. He is a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics and is board certified by the American Board of Pediatrics. Dr. Bromberg has been in private practice since 1983, and joined Ad-Park Pediatric Associates in 1985.

Dr. Bromberg is the senior physician at Ad-Park, and is gratified to now see a third generation of patients. Children he cared for are now returning as parents and even grandparents. He is interested in general pediatrics but particularly enjoys discussing growth and development with parents. Dr. Bromberg also has a strong interest in computer technology. In the last several years, he has led the transition to Electronic Medical Records and a paperless office.

Sharon Thomas Flint, M.D. is a graduate of Rush Medical College. She did her pediatric internship at Michael Reese Hospital and Medical Center and completed her residency at Rush Presbyterian St. Luke’s Medical Center. She was then selected to spend an additional year as Chief Resident, overseeing and teaching new residents.

She is board certified and recertified by the American Board of Pediatrics and a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics. Dr. Flint joined Ad-Park Pediatric Associates in 1988 after completion of her training. She was the Chairman of the Department of Pediatrics at Elmhurst Memorial Hospital from 1999-2001.

Dr. Flint is grateful for the opportunity to care for families. She is excited to offer guidance for both children and their parents from infancy through the college years. Her professional areas of interest are medically complex patients and those with chronic diseases.

Paula Bebej, D.O., graduated with high honors from Loyola University. She attended medical school at the Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine and received a departmental award for the graduate who demonstrated excellence in pediatrics. After her internship, she returned to Loyola University Medical Center for her pediatric residency. She was chosen to remain an additional year to serve as chief resident where she was honored to help teach doctors in training.

Dr. Bebej is board certified by the American Board of Pediatrics and is a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics. She has been at Ad-Park Pediatric Associates, S.C. since finishing her residency in 1992. She has remained on the staff of Loyola University Medical Center and has continued her teaching by working as an attending in their Pediatric Emergency Room.

Dr Bebej sees pediatric patients from birth until college age. She enjoys getting to know both patients and families, creating a positive experience, and providing quality medical care.

Dr. Fitzgerald received her B.S. in Biological Sciences from the University of Notre Dame and her medical degree from Rush University Medical College in Chicago. After completing her residency at the Children’s Hospital of Wisconsin in Milwaukee, she went on to work as a primary care physician on the south side of Chicago. When a year-long fellowship for her husband called them out to San Diego, she worked for Rady Children’s Hospital Urgent Care Centers. She is now back home in the Chicagoland area and excited to be back in primary care pediatrics.

When she’s not practicing medicine, Dr. Fitzgerald enjoys spending time with her family, reading, painting and hiking.
