Joshua Levin, MD
Dr. Levin is a board-certified pediatrician and has been a full-time physician with Elm Street Pediatrics since July of 2007. He attended High School at Glenbrook North, and then earned his bachelor’s degree in Microbiology at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor. He graduated from Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine in 2004, and completed his Pediatric Residency at Children’s Memorial Hospital in Lincoln Park in Chicago in 2007.
Dr. Levin is on staff at North Shore University Healthcare Systems, covering Evanston, Glenbrook, and Highland Park Hospitals. He is also on staff at Lurie Children’s Hospital in Chicago. Dr. Levin has a variety of interests within pediatrics, including ADD/ADHD, mood disorders, asthma, allergies, eczema, travel medicine, and caring for adopted patients and their families. He is the founder of the Elm Street Pediatrics Travel Medicine Clinic. In February of 2016 he participated in the Galderma Acne Advisory Board in Dallas, TX, and in April of 2016, Dr. Levin joined the Tris Pharmacy Speakers Bureau as a speaker for Dyanavel XR, a novel liquid medication for ADHD.
Dr. Levin is an Assistant Professor of Clinical Pediatrics with Northwestern University. He is a multi-year recipient of the Outstanding Teacher of Pediatrics award from the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine. In July of 2011, he was nominated as one of Chicago’s Favorite Kids Docs by Chicago Parent Magazine, and was recognized as such in their annual Chicago Parent 2011.
