As part of our efforts to keep all of you as safe and healthy as possible, we will be implementing several changes at our offices effective immediately:

In an effort to minimize any risk to you and your family, please remember that we offer virtual visits using your computer, smartphone, or tablet. Please visit www.pediatrust.com/virtualvisits for more information on how virtual visits work and how to register.

We will be scheduling all well visits in the morning (between 9:00 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.) We are encouraging keeping up with well visits and keeping vaccinations up-to-date. We will be scheduling in-office sick visits in the afternoon/evening (between 1:30-5:00 p.m.)  Sick patients will be asked screening questions by phone upon scheduling an in-office visit, or else they will be encouraged to schedule a virtual visit.

Walk-In visits will be temporarily suspended until further notice. Our offices will still be open during their regular “walk-in” hours, but we ask that you call us ahead of time to answer screening questions about recent travel and potential exposure to Coronavirus and we will schedule you for the next available appointment.

If there is a reason to suspect you or your child have been exposed to COVID-19, our staff will advise you on your next steps and will help coordinate your care.

We are trying our best to limit the number of people in our offices, so we ask that you please limit the number of family members present. If possible, leave siblings who do not need to be seen at home and have only one parent/guardian come in with the patient. Since the elderly are more at risk, if possible, please try not to have grandparents bring your child in.

For our After-hours Care service in Libertyville and Wheaton, the doors will now be locked and will have instructions posted on calling to answer our screening questions before you will be seen by one of our physicians until further notice. The Arlington Heights After-hours Care clinic is temporarily closed. For more information including the recently updated hours, visit https://pediatrust.com/services/after-hours-care/.

As a precaution, we do have protective equipment on hand if there is a suspected case of Coronavirus, and we have CDC-recommended protocols in place. We are continuing to sanitize everything in our office regularly for your safety.

Your child’s health is our first priority. We will be providing more updates as more information becomes available. If you have any questions or concerns, please call our office- we’re here when you need us.
