Lalaine D. Vitug-Pacis, MD, FAAP
Dr. Lalaine Vitug-Pacis joined Pediatric Associates of Arlington Heights in July of 1995. She attended undergraduate school and received her Bachelors of Science in biology in the premedical program at Loyola University of Chicago. She then attended Rush University Medical College in Chicago and pediatric residency training and chief residency at Rush Presbyterian St. Luke’s Medical Center in Chicago. She is board certified and recertified in General Pediatrics and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics.
Dr. Vitug-Pacis held multiple departmental and committee positions at Northwest Community Hospital in Arlington Heights since being on staff. The main position was Chief of Pediatrics during the years of 2008-2009. She is currently an active attending at Northwest Community Hospital and has been since 1995. She is also affiliated with Children’s Lurie Hospital. She is an Active Teacher in the Student Continuity Experience at Rush Medical College. She was voted by the readers of Chicago Parent Magazine for Excellence as a Chicago’s Favorite Kids Doc in 2011.
Dr. Vitug-Pacis is married and the mother of three boys. Two of her sons attend college and the youngest is in high school. When not busy seeing patients and maintaining her certification in pediatrics, she enjoys spending time traveling, watching Chicago sports events, and watching movies with her family. Her other hobbies include reading novels, volunteering at her church, kickboxing, and listening to music.
