Melissa L. Turner, MD, FAAP
Dr. Turner received her undergraduate degree from the University of Notre Dame. She then attended Northwestern University’s Feinberg School of Medicine, and completed her pediatric training in Milwaukee at the Medical College of Wisconsin’s Children’s Hospital of Wisconsin.
Dr. Turner’s medical interests include asthma, allergies, autism, breastfeeding, concussions, and medical quality improvement. She is a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) and a member of the AAP’s section on Breastfeeding Medicine. She is involved in quality improvement in Northwest Community Hospital’s pediatric department. She also loves to work with picky eaters and sleeping issues from birth through the young adult years. Beyond pediatrics she has a special interest in balanced chromosomal
translocations, and works to improve education and awareness of this condition for the medical community.
Outside of the office Dr. Turner enjoys traveling with her daughter and husband, home improvement projects and getting a healthy night’s sleep.
